Our Process

Below is a summary of what to expect throughout your legal job search process and an explanation of how we will support you along the way.

Application Process
When making your job application, we will ask you to provide us with a current copy of your resume and a copy of your academic transcript, as often requested by employers.  We will contact you within 24-48 hours of receipt of your resume for an initial telephone conversation regarding your application.  There is no charge to you as a candidate to engage our services.

First Meeting
If we identify you as a suitable candidate, we will then arrange to meet you in person.  We prefer to keep our process fairly relaxed and informal, so usually this conversation is conducted over coffee, at a time and place of convenience to you.

The objective of our meeting is to get to know you, obtain a more thorough understanding of what you are looking for and match you to suitable job opportunities.  We will also provide you with an individual market appraisal, realistic advice on your job prospects, salary advice if you want it and will formulate a detailed job search plan with you which we will then implement.

Post Meeting Action
Following our meeting we will represent you to agreed opportunities or employers of interest and will follow up with you as soon as we secure you an interview, or have further feedback.  We will then keep in contact as agreed at regular intervals as your job search progresses.

Interview & Offer Stage
We represent you throughout the recruitment process and remain on hand to provide advice or answer any queries that you have.  When you successfully secure an interview, we will schedule the interview for you, will ensure you are adequately prepared and will manage all interview feedback.

At offer stage, we will manage your response and can also have involvement in the negotiation of your remuneration package, terms of your contract and start date.

Pre & Post Start Date
We keep in touch throughout your notice period and beyond your start date to ensure you transition smoothly into your new role.
